Grew up with loads of old science fiction books with Chris Foss art on the cover, and an old book called Science Fiction Art. When I was little these illustrations would draw me in for hours. So wanted to make something taking a bit of inspiration from that memory. I was also wanting to incorporate some design aspects of old battle ships with the large turret sponsons onto the cruiser.
